After meeting Carol at a West Coast Christian Writers conference, we had several conversations. She was inspired to create book of devotional essays illustrated with her beautiful photographs.
We teamed up with a new partner, designer Brenda Wilbee, on this project. Brenda created the cover and interior layout—there is a color photo for each essay, sometimes spanning two pages which made the design a challenge, but the result was just gorgeous. I edited the essays and guided Carol through the self-publishing process on Kindle Direct Publishing. We did both a paperback and hardcover edition of Go Outside: God is Waiting. Carol is delighted with the results.
